All UUSA employees receive competitive medical benefits and can choose from two medical plans: a PPO with a lower deductible and coinsurance (traditional plan), or a High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) that has a higher annual deductible, but also includes a Health Savings Account (HSA) to pay health expenses with tax-free dollars. UUSA is also pleased to offer a comprehensive dental plan that covers dental services with no deductible as well as comprehensive vision coverage. UUSA also provides telemedicine to employees through Teladoc at no cost.
UUSA automatically provides employees with basic life and AD&D insurance benefits equal to two times the employee’s annual base pay at no cost to the employee. In addition to the company-provided basic life and AD&D insurance, employees have the option to purchase supplemental life insurance for themselves and their dependents.

Wellness Program (through HealthCheck360)
Each year, we strive to provide the highest quality health benefits and the tools to help improve the health, well-being, and quality of life of our team. To assist our employees in developing a lifelong commitment to wellness we offer several tools, including annual biometric screenings and health risk assessments.
Employees who complete the annual wellness (biometric) screening will receive a monthly discount on their health insurance premium. Employees who complete all three steps could qualify for a bonus of up to $400.
In addition, all UUSA employees have access to our 24-hour, state-of-the-art, on-site gym.
UUSA offers generous paid time off (PTO) and observes 8 company-paid holidays and 3 floating holidays each year.
UUSA offers a Short Term Disability (STD) plan at that provides income replacement if an employee is disabled due to injury or illness at no cost to the employee. Long Term Disability (LTD) insurance is also available after 26 weeks of leave.
UUSA offers both traditional 401(k) and Roth 401(k) plans. We also provide a 100% employer match on the first 6% our employees save and an annual retirement contribution based on age and years of service.
All benefit-eligible employees may participate in the Retiree Medical Savings Account plan, which allows employees to contribute post-tax dollars to a post-retirement medical expense account to be used by retirees and their eligible dependents on a reimbursement arrangement for eligible health care expenses.
